The Minister Answer To ISA

by { JP }

As I had blog about the lady who been arrested under ISA two days ago, [The Highest Percentage Group of People Who been Aimed by ISA] ;
the Minister clarified about the arrest - [Syed Hamid clarifies Suaram official's arrest] tonight, which "able" to answered the questionaires arised recently in where it's unveil my ignorance about ISA !

JP blog: "As my understand of the ISA, is acting to lock up (without trial) those who ruin the stability of country and being a threat to the safety of the nation. (as per my damn poor english level perception)"

{Malaysia Language} Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar berkata Lee bukan seorang tahanan ISA tetapi dituduh bawah Seksyen 28 akta itu dan dia boleh membela diri di mahkamah kerana membuat laporan palsu. - picked from http://malaysiakini.com/news/91701 (Malaysiakini)
(Rough Translated) - The Minister : "Lee was not a ISA detainee but questioned (or charged ? already? - confusing here) under Section 28 of the ISA because of her fake report and she can defend herself in court"

JP blog: "In my own observation, normally the highest percentage group of people who might threatening the nation are :-
1. age from 35 to 65;
2. military background; or underground military trained;
3. man (rather than woman)

State deputy police chief Datuk Tun Hisan Tun Hamzah:
"the ISA was not restricted only to communists."
"It is a big act which covers many aspects of internal security, not just communism."

- picked from http://www.malaysianbar.org.my/legal/general_news/use_of_isa_on_cheng_proper_say_johor_cops.html

Then JP also blog: "The person been locked up recently (and released after a day) was an "underage" lady!"

Why JP said that she is underage?
"Well, as my observation anyone below 35 should be categorised as "underage" group in doing big-man things!

Malaysiakini reported also reported the following,

-picked from http://malaysiakini.com/news/91701 (Malaysiakini)

(Rough translated as) - Section 28 of the Act provides for imprisonment of up to three years and a fine of up to RM5,000, or both, upon conviction.

Section 73 of the Act provides for detention of up to 60 days, whilst Section 8 authorised the Minister to detain (or lock up ,... I also confused which word to use, actrually what's the different?) somebody up to 2 years without trial .

It's really shame to unveil my ignorance !
(as my damn poor poor English level)
