Who Is Baradan Kuppusamy?
By Anwar Ibrahim

Dear Abang Din,

Ramadhan Karim and I hope you are well and doing fine.

I’m an ardent reader of your blog and I leave a comment most of the times specially if the topic is “explosive” and heat generating. (I use the tagname Abdul/Abdullah in your blog). That said, you may know one Baradan Kappusamy who writes for whoever pays him or whichever paper that demands his article which is mainly an anti-Anwar articles. My Indian friends call him a “paid whore.”

His behaviour and hatred against Anwar is very strong and he strongly supports Najib and we have reports that he has been recruited by him to run down Anwar. You can see it his the Star commentary yesterday and today’s The Malaysian-Insider (both BN leaflets) which are simply hateful concoctions full of bigotry, biased reporting and hatred.

I have looked for his contacts and even my Indian friends failed to get them, I wanted to contact him concerning his shameful diatribe and hysterical hatred against DSAI but I can’t get his contacts. I have been told that he is a shadowy figure who is a hired assassin. Therefore, I appeal to you Abang Din to try your best to supply me with his contacts (email, or phone, or both) if you have them or can get them through other friends in the media. He sometimes writes in Malaysiakini, so may be you can get his contacts from your Malaysiakini friends and pass it to me through this email address. (I have also contacted Susan Loone just now and I hope she will answer me).

Yesterday, I have contacted blogger MagickRiver (Antares)**, an Indian Anwar supporter and he told me that he couldn’t get the contacts of what he called a “shameful paid whore.” So, try your best if you can get me his address. Otherwise, you can contact him ask him the cause of his hatred against Anwar. He should be bombarded with outrageous comments in relation to his outrageous conduct so that he knows there is a limit. I’m really mad at this shameful character.

Thanking you in advance
Happy Hari Raya.

Note from Din Merican: “Let us ban Baradan Kuppusamy from our PCs, if there is truth in this private e-mail to me. Salams.”

** MagickRiver (Antares) comment once in my article which he might feel that I pursuit those tending to leave BN party (and individual) but click another option in NOT to join Pakatan Rakyat (which a coalition with the dominant party is Party Keadilan Rakyat) ! click here http://jp3rdparty.blogspot.com/2008/09/reel-of-defection-part-ii.html to check out (and you tell me ..)

Deviation - the Ruling Coalition (part 2) - Hindu temple torn down

by Jeff JP

I was extremely distress today when I heard that certain group of Hindu were extremely distress too due to the say say "don't know" (without acknowledgement) about incident of 19-year old Sri Maha Kaliamman temple torn down as reported by Malaysiakini.

Now we have seen the same scenerio similar to the incident of tearing down the Indian temple before the 12th general election where this had been used by the opposition coalition to damn shit slap slam to the ruling party in gaining their votes!

Extremely shame ! And fuck up with these "twisters" expecially when the power is on their hand. Pakatan Rakyat is governing Selangor state now, people would expected them to protect their sake but this "twisters" turn them SHITs !

What a shame if somebody still said that they were "unacknowledgabled" about the torn-down action beforehand !? So, where they are ? SLEEPING infected ?

What a fool they think we are if they said that they have been SET-UP ?!! IF really somebody in any agenda to set them up with this sin motion, why they being so awful and fools until they lit out thier own ass to be "sodomised" by others ?!!

Anyway, any one who is using any holy place to be their dirty political tricks or tools will see [karma] soon ~..~

We are so distress here and will up side down your coalition's domain party's manifesto which you had up side down your promise, and keep on empty promises ...

Deviation ~ The Ruling Power

by Jeff Phoon
Malaysiakini - where we live now
I was tremendous upset when Teresa Kok denied her first statement about she'd been served with "dog-food" and twisted it.

Malaysian TV news firstly reported Teresa said that she'd been served with something similar to dog food while she was detained under ISA recently. I was upset that moment due to my perception was that she prescribed those served food was for dogs, hence the detainees are all "dog-dog" as her perception !?? What's the talks before thought ?

Then she made a u-turn to her earlier statement, saying that she did not say her was served with something similar to dog food but rather, she was served with something slightly better than dog food. So, what's the different here ?
{The TV3 (a pro-ruling party news broadcasting) handled the matter in the most obvious way : they broadcasted Teresa's second statement and then re-aired that statement with the first statement she made earlier.} So, we've seen the proof !

My english level damn poor, What's the different between "something similar" and "slightly better" ?

I was totally disappointed with these politician when they act like "twister" ! Expecially when the power is on their hand !

Teresa is now the Member of the Selangor State Assembly (where she focus into detail district issue); she is also a Selangor Senior Executive Councillor (where she look into state related matters - a wider scope); and she is also the Member of Parliament (where she concern into the federal government - a big scope).

We should understand that she is a capable person withholding such a number of important positions ! I'm not saying that she is greedy to "grab" all these power in hand but she might have been "forced" (by unexpected the then 12th general election's result which in favour to opposition party) to win these positions. With such heavy resposibles fall onto her shoulder, she able to stand for or fall-down ?

This recalled my memory several months ago when I might overheard that she was reluctant to help a household's auntie in solving resident area's social matter (where the area is not Teresa's won territory but adjacent to hers).

"She told us that - { see...now you faced problem! Your area voted for the "balance-tool" and they do nothing! They some more taken revenge because thet facing great lost in parliament seats in the recent election! You all deserved it !}" said the auntie. I was still doubt about what's the auntie's told that time.

I'm still remember when I first saw Teresa when she presented her arousing political speech few days before the election day.
I tentaviely cut-short my meeting with my colleagues to leave early, on the pretext of rushing to my tend-to-vote candidate - "better Malaysia" pre-election "vote-grabs' speech.
I rushed back home to encourage my wife to join me. To strengthen our points of preference with no bias to vote for the "RIGHT-man".

In the heavy rain, with our heart of hoping to create a better Malaysia for all generations expecially for our children, we are able to grab the first row audience seat and we hope.

I saw my favour candidate, (no doubt, many of us in my area grown in a "rocket-favour" influenced family); I saw YB Tan (the adjacent territory's MP; where my registered house address supposed to be in YB Tan's territory but we have totally no idea why the area splited into few portions and we've been categorised to vote in adjacent territory); I saw Gorbin Singh - the son of my old man's favour MP which he was giving a powerful-voice speech that night; I saw Anwar's daugther giving her "fearless" speech; and I saw Raja Petra - frankly speaking at that moment I'm still don't know "why people were overjoyed and given fascinated hands-clap when this bald up to stage ?", as I didn't know who is Raja Petra or maybe I read about his name in newspaper once or twice before ( in Chinese newspaper- his name translated odd in Chinese pronunciation) but I never see his face or photo.

With heavy rain keep on falling, we never ran !
We listen to their aroused speech one by one with no fear ! Included Teresa's speech in that "freshy-juicy" night with mud flushed up to our legs !
Rain won't die out our burning heart in creating a better Malaysia !!

Eventually after that night, we planted deeper our preference and became "immuned" !

The day falls - We out to vote.
I was so eagerly awaiting for this day. We put on the "X" mark on our preference coulumn and walked out from the election hall with extremely proud feeling that we have done at least little piece of contribution hoping to create "better Malaysia" ! ~..~

308 passed, resulted as tsunami to the ruling party !
Scenario, , cross-over rumour, ,Sodomy allegation, ,who fucked who, ,who sucked who, ,power swoop, ,lies, ,bollywood shows, ,scandals - episod by episod, we've seen..
Any changes in the current nation situation ? Any improvement ? We got better life now ? Should we deserve for these shits ?

Defection : People Wish or NOT (part 2)

by Jeff Phoon

Malaysiakini (one of the most readers web-based news media in this region) yesterday reported that Opposition politicians anxious to form the federal government should first remember that they answer to voters, say activists.

I'm still remember I'd written an article [ Defection : People Wish or NOT ? ] on the Saturday, August 23, 2008 about the wills and wishes of people concerning on the materialize of the said defection after Anwar won the Permatang Pauh' by-election.

People are very much concerning about the new cabinets' candidates and mostly new candidate to sworn as our next PM ! Off course people like many hope to see a changing of politic power !
But few more group of people are very much concerning about the candidates in the new cabinets where - we had voted for the better MPs to represented our district, at the same time indirectly "appointed" them to be our country Ministers.

The system work like this, amongst these elected MPs of the ruling party ONLY (who are capable in their certain aspects) will eventually selected and appointed by our PM to be the cabinet Ministers.
(And always remember these candidates ONLY selected from the ruling party only, even if there are who and who is too damn good in whatsover field won't got this bowl of rice, Why? this is history. - {Nobody can change history. History cannot be change just to satisfy and make certain quarters happy.} - quoted from Ahmad Ismail 's statement on the kiosk press conference about racist issue yesterday)

So, we have indirectly "appointed" them to be our new Ministers ! Then the question is still why the people are feeling like "want them to be MPs only; but NOT Ministers" !?? Now we see the dilemma in our own self ~..~

Here was the headline of related news by Malaysiakini :-

PGRM : Mutli Racial Party (transformed)

by Jeff Phoon
Hoo~Ray to YB Kohilan Pillay !
Being the first non-Chinese to win the Parti Gerakan Rakyat Malaysia (PGRM) Selangor state chief post !

Hoo~Ray to PGRM members!
They had decided to vote for a Indian to be their first ever state Chief post in today polls.
(Kohilan garnered 187 votes beated his opponent, a Chinese Datuk Lum Weng Keong managed 175 votes in the polls).

This is a big move move of their courage to truly transform into a truly multi-racial party!

Ya.., recently both of the major Chinese-dominant party in Malaysia, PGRM and Democratic Action Party (DAP) have made their move to transform into a truly Malaysian party with colourless principle.

No doubt both of these party were having non-Chinese to be their leaders previously but this time they are stress to "promote" this transformation strategic! As you could seen on TV news and read the headline of DAP when they appointed (Malaysiakini news dated August 24 this year) Tunku Abdul Aziz to be the party's Vice Chairman.

Back to today polls, PGRM won some people's heart this time with they are really voted (not appointed) for their leaders !
And credited to them for winning respect from people of this democratic country.

Ya..., some of you might just argued that they could have manipulated the polls result
or pressure influenced from their top to vote according the "vege-list" (the dominant power's preference list , if any)
or even they might want somebody who hold a Deputy Minister post in the current BN's cabinet (Senator Kohilan is also the Deputy Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister) to be their state chief ~

ai ya ... at least you can seen they are really "acting" on this multi-racial party's objective and definately they have won the democratic people's respect. Politician is good actor by all time ~

The Reel Of Defection (part II)

by Jeff Phoon

Malaysiakini today reported that the Former Federal Territory (Wilayah Persekutuan) Gerakan chief Dr Tan Kee Kwong says race-based parties are no longer relevant and that joining multi-racial PKR was a breath of fresh air.

Besides, from other sources of news media also reported that many leaders from Pemuda Gerakan PGRM (Party Gerakan Rakyat Malaysia - youth team) are threatening to pull out from Barisan Nasional (the current ruling party) if Ahmad Ismail (the one who alleged of creating the recent hot racist issue) refuse to apology !

Not just the PGRM will pull-out, Malaysiakini (Mandarin version) and TV news also reported that leaders from the MCA (another alliance in the BN) Youth will doing so if that Ahmad Ismail refuse to apology !!

This is really going to be countdown to stepdown for the ruling alliance, for their ignorance of realising the fact that racist issue is a real crack in BN !!

One usual thought of most us is that when there is any party defect against BN then they will absolutely join Anwar's coalition - Pakatan Rakyat. It 's this the only way they can head on ?

Had those who joined PKR or going to defect individual (or party) think, really think of other option beside heading, ya use their head on to join with Anwar's ?

Why can't they (these MCA and PGRM) pull out from BN and finally form another NEW coalition which is not pro-BN and pro-Anwar ?

These individual (or party) who hearted-to-defect in whatsover reason they are having in their own heart (we know that they used up this current issue, but dep inside their own intention mgith be different), do they really consent with Anwar's agenda in forming the new government ? Do they really compromise their (party) ideology with the coalition of Pakatan Rakyat ? Do they really support Anwar ?

If the answer is NOT ! Then why can't they stead on their (party) ideology and be a fresh power instead of joining Pakatan Rakyat ?

by Jeff Phoon

Last 2 days Malaysiakini reported in their frontpage that Dr Mohd Osman Abdul Hamid, the Pusrawi Hospital doctor who examined Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, appeared in public today to stand by his claim that he found no evidence of sodomy on the alleged victim.

Besides the malaysiakini.com, which stream to be more neutral; most of the local newspaper also frontpaged this news about the appearance of the Burmese Doctor.

One another is the most Chinese readers local newspaper, Chinapress.

From this phenomenon, we could foresee that reporting strategic of the local media have changed their wave into a new era !

They are more DARE-to frontline majority readers' concerned news which previously most of these con-to-government news might have been intentionally blocked or influenced by certain body to minimise the reporting coverage.

Either they are the mainstream, pro-ruling party's media where now they're transforming to be more neutral in reporting the country's political news;
Or they are from the neutral stream, none pro-and-con to ruling party's media where now they are reporting more and more opposition partys' news .

This is a great benefit to us where now we are easily obtaining more truth news, stated manifestos, yelled propaganda or other which we seldom knew previously.

Based on these new era news, we can judge now whether who is always lying and who is really care for the people !

Road to HOL LANT (colony) : B2009 RevisED

by Jeff Phoon

Echoing of my article [MOUSETRAP to the new POWER : B2009] being linked by Malaysiakini (malaysiakini.com) yesterday, and viewed by more than hundreds of readers; and immediately [Anwar promises new and better Budget] as reported by malaysiakin.com responsibly.

My first article review on this recent B2009 was:

1. no "SWEETS", only "CANDY PAPER" given : Budget 2009 REVIEW (part1)

secondly with

2. no "SWEETS", only "CANDY PAPER" given : Budget 2009 REVIEW (part 2)

and finally this

3. MOUSETRAP to the new POWER : Budget 2009 review

Over my reviews above, I've touched majorly in these issue:

* PERSONAL INCOME TAX - which showed the fairness (or maybe NOT) against both lower income group and highest income group;

* PUBLIC TRANSPORT - which showed the current government's lofty aspirations in creating a more efficient, reliable and integrated public transportation; where most of us doubt on their ability in which even they were not able to just pasted more signage diagram at public transportation stations, as what I had slammed in my article : [ Do this also they CAN NOT! ] !

So, the simple things also they were not able to do perfectly, how can we expect them to wide-up the RM35 billion allocation ?!

* Excise Duty - which showed the increment on cigarettes, but ZERO increment for alcoholic and ZERO increment for gambling sector !?

* Eductaion - which showed RM31 billion allocated for educating our children; but little effort focusing in developing more employments !?

Eventually, Anwar said that he would unveil a new Budget if his Pakatan Rakyat managed to take over government by its self-imposed deadline of Sept 16 as reported by Malaysiakini 's Beh Lih Yi Sep 2, 08 12:15pm.

So, we are curious that the new Budget would be a really CARING for Rakyat or CARING for Government budget ? (the current budget themed [ A Caring Government ], isn't short of one missing word ?)

And we hearfully hope that the new power (if yet to come), will not drop to the mousetrap and drawn us to HOL LANT~ ~

Anwar promises new and better Budget
From Malaysiakini

Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim today said that he would unveil a new Budget if his Pakatan Rakyat managed to take over government by its self-imposed deadline of Sept 16.

He said that the main theme of his alternate Budget would be to cut down the deficit, lower taxes and fuel prices, stimulate investments and adopt open tenders for government contracts.
He said this when was asked whether he would unveil a new Budget if he assumes power of the government. A confident Anwar - a former finance minister - cheekily responded: “The question is not if, but when.”

At a press conference today, he blasted the Budget 2009 tabled by the government last week as yet another indication of the government’s failure to provide sound economic direction in a challenging global and domestic environment.

If we can form the government, this Budget (by the BN government) shall be reviewed and a new budget will be tabled, insyallah (God willing),” he said at an hour-long press conference held at PKR party headquarters in Tropicana, Petaling Jaya.

He was accompanied by his wife and party president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, her deputy Dr Syed Husin Ali and information chief Tian Chua. A number of party MPs were also present.

BN’s exaggerating claims
Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, as finance minister, tabled his Budget for 2009 in Parliament last Friday and since received mixed reviews for it.

Opposition parties have expressed disappointment with Abdullah’s failure to provide new incentives to stimulate growth in the economy and are worried about the ballooning budget deficit.

Anwar in the same vein criticised Abdullah’s budget today, alleging that the government was “exaggerating claims and misrepresenting statistics to create a rosy picture on its achievements and economic progress”.

Elaborating on his Budget, Anwar vowed to cut the budget deficit - which is an expectant 3.6 percent of the GDP for 2009 and 4.8 percent this year - down to three percent.

We have to go down gradually as we have to first look at the figures whether we can reach the three percent deficit immediately which is more tenable if we can sustain it,” he said.

He was however quick to add that he was confident that the deficit would drop below the present 4.8 percent if steps to enhance competitiveness were incorporated whilst discarding the practice of awarding government projects without tenders.

This would by itself reduce the (government’s) expenditure and I believe if we can do it efficiently, we can save RM4 billion to RM5 billion at one go, reducing the registered deficit,” he said.

He criticised the BN government for spending irresponsibly and disregarding the burden that would befall future generations.

I feel and suspect that Abdullah knows his days are numbered (as written in [ the 3rd PARTY ]'s blog) so he spent as much as possible because he knows the next government will be able to deal with that,” Anwar quipped.

The opposition leader also said he was committed to reduce the fuel prices - an election promise he has pledged - and to lower the personal and corporate tax to alleviate the burden of the rakyat.

My economic philosophy has always been ‘no tax, increase productivity’, I have not changed with that position. Lower the tax, the better and higher the productivity,” he noted.

BN : Countdown to Stepdown "Menghitung Hari" (pt1)

( Malaysiakini {LETTERS} )

Anwar wins, what now?
Jimmy Puah Aug 29, 08 2:23pm

Let just take a breather and savour this momentous moment. Much has been written about Anwar Ibrahim’s landslide victory in the Permatang Pauh (P44) by-election. I would not regurgitate the voluminous congratulatory messages appearing all over the Net.
It is indeed a job well done. Now let us pause for a moment and try to extract some of the implications from this historic result.

1. Malaysians have voted in a resounding manner for change. The official result indicates that DSAI successfully obtained approximately 66% of the votes. The total number of votes cast is 46,811 while Anwar obtained 31,195 of the lot.

Now, taking into consideration the demographic of Permatang Pauh which is made up of approximately 69% Malays and 31% non-Malays, it would be safe to say that Anwar garnered around 60-65% of the Malay vote and 70-80% of the non-Malay vote.

Such consistency in voting across the ethnic groups gives a strong implication that Umno's so-called tried and tested ‘divide and rule’ policy is clearly outdated and rejected by the people.

2. By voting in Anwar, the wise people of Permatang Pauh have shown great political wisdom in focusing on prevailing issues rather than petty personal attacks and race-based diversion. Despite having the entire BN machinery plus mainstream media support, the ‘lovable’ BN candidate Arif Shah could only muster less than 50% of Anwar's votes.

Perhaps a case of right man in the wrong party? We must be thankful that Anwar won so convincingly, if not BN will be convinced their race-based policy is correct and future government policies will be dictated along this line.

3. The BN has clearly lost the support of the non-Malays. There is no other way to write about this. The Chinese and Indians are with Pakatan Rakyat and are likely to stay that way for a long time to come.

You can even sense that Gerakan and MCA leaders are beginning to be resigned to their fate, with voices coming out from both parties asking for a re-examination of their respective party’s role in BN. It is hilarious to read both MCA president hopefuls trying to outdo each other by being more anti-Umno!

4. BN is now officially in a dilemma since their tactic of portraying Anwar as a Malay sell-out has backfired. To salvage their regime, they must decide whether to take a more multiracial stand or play the numerical game and concentrate on the Malay vote.

I feel even though the Malay voters in Permatang Pauh have rejected BN, Umno will intensify their nationalism agenda and further exacerbate the sensitive racial relationship issue in Malaysia.

5. Abdullah Badawi and Najib’s position in Umno will be under tremendous scrutiny so expect more calls from the grassroots and ambitious leaders like Tengku Razeleigh and perhaps Muhyiddin for a change in party leadership.

An unstable Umno would lend great help to Anwar’s cause.

6. With this momentum, Anwar will be poised to call for leadership change in the government. The next few weeks could well decide Malaysia’s future.

The people of Permatang Pauh have bravely taken the first step, and now it is the turn of the rest of the Malaysians.

..... Any extra allocation = means more on the deficit !
So, when there is going to be any new POWER slop in, it's extremely hard for them to revised and giving more to the "Rakyat" !

It's just like a mousetrap !!
And when there are more deficit, then the country will have to take on debts,

now you get the point ?

No wonder it's NOT a populist budget as prescribed in the Malaysiakini.

Mass transit taking us nowhere? Pt 2
Moaz Yusuf Ahmad Aug 27, 08 1:31pm
In the case of the extension of the Kelana Jaya LRT line to Subang Jaya, USJ, and Putra Heights I have already expressed my disapproval for the project.
I still do not believe that this proposed extension is a wise decision to make. It will be a costly mistake, potentially tying up funds that could be used to build mass transport lines elsewhere in the Klang Valley or Penang, where they are more desperately needed.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT =>
*a more efficient, reliable and integrated public transportation, which provides seamless travel and greater frequency of services, is required.

*a sum of RM35 billion will be expended

*The existing LRT system in the Klang Valley will be extended by 30 km

*for Kelana Jaya and Ampang lines.

*35 train carriages for the Kelana Jaya Line have been procured costing RM1.3 billion

*a new LRT line will be built along a 42 km route from Kota Damansara to Cheras

*now you know how huge volume of the new train carriages needed in our country !??

*The Government also took over the assets and operations of KL Monorail

by scomi

*An additional 13 new units of EMUs will be acquired

*huge number of new rail lines and new carriages needed to be invested !

I still remember I had written an article [ Do this also you CAN NOT! ] early last month to expressed my disappointment on this city public transport system.

I'm really doubt about the government ability to create an integrated system which will effectively link up the existing rails provider (LRT, Monorail, Komuter) with road buses and taxi.
